Funding

In order to get to the point where we have a registered, road legal prototype, we are seeking funding through a GoFundMe campaign. We will also be putting in some of our own money to this project to get it off the ground.

In addition, we will be seeking sponsorship from various manufacturers, suppliers and other organisations. We plan to add on-line advertising to this website and its associated YouTube channel. Longer term funding will also come from an owners club that will have an annual subscription fee.

Please share a link to this project on social media or donate!

The funding will be used to:

  1. Establish the website hosting and document the project work.
  2. Buy software licences for design and modelling software.
  3. Send Ethan on some training courses (welding, etc.).
  4. To rent premises for the prototypes to be stored and worked on.
  5. Buy tools that we don't already have.
  6. Buy a second-hand MX-5 to use as a test mule.
  7. Buy materials to fabricate parts.
  8. Buy or outsource prototype parts for testing.

We don't currently have enough garage space for a project like this. We think that a rented space nearby to work in would be more like going to work each day.

Note: Neither Rob or Ethan will be paid during this project. Our reward for the considerably amount of time invested will be to own the test mule and the first vehicle produced, which gives us a huge incentive to complete the project!

Funding Progress

We have currently put in £10,000 of our own money to get this project up and running.
