As part of the OSSEV® philosophy, we are making as much of our design work and software available as open-source. If you would like to manufacture these designs commercially and then sell them, then please contact us first so we can add you to the list of registered partners and suppliers. As an individual, we would appreciate it if you would donate to the wider OSSEV® project when you use OSSEV® designs and software.

PCBs

The first PCB design will be made available very soon.

Software

Note: All software made available is available at the bottom of each OSSEV® project page, so that it retains its full context.

A toothed ring made from a ferrous metal is required for the speed sensor that interfaces to our chosen speedometer. This generates the pulses to measure the vehicle speed and will be bolted through to the reduction gearbox output flange and uses the same four M10 bolts on a 96mm PCD. The central hole is 44mm in diameter. This is designed to be laser cut from 5mm thick steel plate.
