The ISP is a feature of the Driver Control Unit (DCU) and it enables intuitive access to the OSSEV® and a personalised driving experience, without the need for physical keys. It is a combination of hardware and software designed to enable maximise the focus on driver involvement. The ISP uses personalised "keys" to wirelessly unlock the OSSEV® and to then provide a personalised driving experience. The OSSEV® will also automatically secure itself on exiting the vehicle.
We plan to use NFC technology and BLE technology to implement secure "keys". This means it will also be possible to gain access to the OSSEV® using your smartphone.
