A big part of any connected vehicle or EV is the software. Because there is no manufacturer or dealership associated with the OSSEV®, any software updates will have to be performed by the owner. For security reasons, this will only be acheivable with physical access to the vehicle.
This ensures that the owner retains full control of the features installed and the software versions on their vehicle.
